Safety & Reporting Policy

How we keep BLACQ.app safe and how to report a problem.

Last updated July 2026

Our aim

We want BLACQ.app to feel safe, respectful and useful for everyone in the community.

Emergency advice

If you are in immediate danger, please contact the emergency services first (999 in the UK).

Report the issue to us afterwards so we can take action on the platform.

What you can report

Report a user — for harassment, hate, threats, impersonation or unsafe behaviour

Report content — posts, comments, messages or Creative Passport content that breaks the rules

Report an event or Space — for safety concerns, misleading information or rule breaches

Report a business — for scams, misleading listings or abusive behaviour

Report a copyright issue — for content that infringes your copyright or trademark

Block and mute

Block user — stops the person from contacting you and hides most of your activity from them.

Mute user — hides their posts and messages from your view without letting them know.

How we handle reports

Reports are reviewed by the BLACQ team.

We may ask for more information. Serious issues are prioritised.

Possible actions

No action

Warning the user

Removing content

Restricting account features

Suspending the account

Banning the user

Reporting serious issues to the police or other authorities where required

Appeals

If you believe a moderation decision was wrong, you can appeal by emailing hello@blacq.app with your account details and what you'd like us to review.

A different member of the team will look at the appeal where possible.
